CARLOS BRAIN is a highly accomplished and dedicated physical therapist with over 40 years of experience in clinical practice, rehabilitation management, and healthcare leadership. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Chile, where he was recognized as an Honor Scholar and received multiple awards for both academic and clinical excellence. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Carlos is known for his strong sense of responsibility, organizational skills, and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Carlos began his career in Chile, where he achieved top honors in clinical science during his undergraduate studies. After registering in California as a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT), he furthered his education by completing a Master of Science at WCU and pursuing additional postgraduate training in Clinical Orthopedics and Neurological Rehabilitation.

In California, he enhanced his expertise through certifications in wound care, electrodynamics, and industrial rehabilitation. Carlos has held important roles, including Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) at Lincoln Hospital and Promise Healthcare Sub-Acute, and has served as Rehab Director and CEO at Altima Healthcare since 2000. He has also contributed his extensive knowledge to numerous healthcare centers and home health agencies across California and Nevada. As a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA), Carlos remains dedicated to ongoing professional development, focusing on areas such as geriatric physical therapy, Medicare compliance, and outpatient reimbursement. Additionally, he is certified as a Clinical Instructor under an APTA program in restorative nursing at a private postsecondary educational institution in California.
